Rebecca Massey

Bec Massey is an award-winning actress and one of Australia’s most beloved theatre clowns. With a career spanning film, television and theatre, Bec is known for her versatility and sharp comic wit.

She has consistently worked with the country’s leading theatre companies, from early collaborations with Neil Armfield at Company B to the State Theatre of SA (Vere [Faith]), Griffin Theatre Company (Kill Climate Deniers), and Sydney Theatre Company (After Dinner; Chimerica). During this time, she also toured the world as part of Cloud Street, Nick Enright and Justin Monjo’s adaptation of the Tim Winton classic. 

On-screen, Bec has appeared in numerous productions, such as the cult comedy Chandon Pictures and the whip-smart satire Utopia.

She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including a Glug and Green Room Award for Best Actress, as well as two Helpmann Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress (The Underpants and It Just Stopped). 

In 2020, Bec founded Club House Productions, a naughty, independent play space where experienced artists are free to explore and create.
