Sheridan Harbridge
Sheridan Harbridge is a multi-award-winning actress, cabaret performer, writer and director.
Since graduating from NIDA in 2006, Sheridan has been a mainstay of theatre stages across the country. She won Best Actress at the Sydney Theatre Awards for her searing, one-woman performance of Prima Facie (Griffin Theatre Company) and earned nominations for her work in both Stop Girl and Calamity Jane (Belvoir).
An acclaimed playwright, Sheridan’s musical Songs for the Fallen took home a Green Room award, as well as Best Musical and Best Actress at the prestigious New York Musical Theatre Festival.
More recently, Sheridan made the leap to directing with the premiere of Dubbo Championship Wrestling, for which she received a Sydney Theatre Award. She then went on to direct 44 Sex Acts in One Week for Club House Productions, which earned rave reviews as part of the Sydney Festival.
Sheridan is currently the Hayes Theatre fellow and is co-writing a new musical adaptation of My Brilliant Career for Melbourne Theatre Company.
