"Let's move fast and break things."
A dance comp with a difference. Dance Dance Insurrection is the third and final instalment of David Finnigan's devastatingly funny Carbon 2000 Trilogy.
Slick dance routines meet intergenerational warfare, this play is the feverish offspring of Dirty Dancing and Euphoria – a fractured battle cry for a world on the brink of collapse.
There will be blood shed on the dance floor.

Explosive choreography meets subversive comedy
in this story of a high school dance competition
for a world on the brink of collapse.
SYNOPSIS
With her mother’s generation disappearing down the rabbit hole of online conspiracy theories, high schooler Gwen Malkin sets out to fix the problem at the source – by destroying the internet itself.
The only way she can do this is by sabotaging a valuable network hub housed at the Global Internet Exchange, only accessible one day of the year… when the facility hosts the finals of the Interschools Dance Competition.
Now, Gwen has to rally a ragtag team of misfits and outcasts from the delinquent ranks of Fluoro High to win the most prestigious dance competition in the country – and if they can’t find their groove in time, a whole generation might go up in flames.
Following Kill Climate Deniers and 44 Sex Acts In One Week, Dance Dance Insurrection is the final chapter in David Finnigan’s award-winning apocalyptic comedy tryptic.

You lived your whole lives getting richer
and you thought the good times would never end
you were the beautiful, innocent generations
you gave your kids everything except a future
you loved us so much, you would do anything for us
except change.
